Fire Safety Awareness  

Fire Safety Awareness (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognized qualification designed for those who want to increase their awareness of fire safety in the workplace. 

Candidates will learn basic fire safety principles in order to ensure they are always keeping themselves and others in the workplace safe. They will also learn what to do in the event of an emergency and the simple measures that can be taken to control the risk of fires. 

  • Basic Fire Safety Principles – Fundamental fire prevention and protection concepts
  • Fire Classification and Types – Understanding Class A, B, C fire categories
  • Fire Extinguisher Types and Usage – Proper selection and operation techniques
  • Workplace Fire Risk Management – Simple measures to control fire hazards
  • Fire Detection Systems and Alarms – Understanding warning systems and responses
  • Emergency Response and Evacuation – Actions during fire emergencies and assembly procedures
  • Legal Responsibilities and Duties – Understanding fire safety obligations
  • Fire Safety Equipment Inspection – Regular checks and maintenance requirements
